New Year’s Resolution – SEO Your Website

Well, it looks like the holiday business blues are over and business is picking up again as SEO Firm has been receiving many inquiries this week about our SEO services.

On the personal side, the local fitness club is filled with people trying to make good on their New Year’s resolution to get in shape.

On the business side, it looks like many are deciding to add SEO to their marketing plan this year. Let’s hope both of these resolutions are kept.

According to a study by Keynote, the Google gap is being closed by Yahoo!, MSN and AskJeeves. The study states that positive changes by the three competitors have created a better user experience in the last 6 months, while Google’s user satisfaction rating has remained the same.

This leveling of the playing field is a positive sign for web businesses so that they may lessen their dependence upon Google as “they only game in town” and it gives users more choices as well.

As I sit here, sipping my coffee once again, I can only ponder that the New Year’s resolution for Google’s competition (increase marketshare) will bring awareness to more in the online business community of the necessity of SEO for their websites.
